Intelligent Controls

With all of the cleaning possibilities available with Miele washing machines, surprisingly you do not need a degree in mechanical engineering to use them. Our engineers understand your needs as they relate to both common and specialty wash programs. They compiled these requirements and created a simple approach that allows you to quickly and easily select a cycle that will automatically adjust the water volume, temperature, soak and spin speeds to manage your cleaning task. Of course, there may be occasion to override Miele’s programs, in which case you can customize your own program and command the machine’s cycle. In essence, you have both automatic and personalized MasterCareTM controls on this piece of precision German engineering.

Behind the scenes, Miele’s patented electronic controls never stop monitoring Master of Clean your washing machine. In total silence, key factors are being evaluated in order to protect your family, your laundry and our cherished natural resources. First, your family is protected by an out-of balance sensor that can detect dramatic weight shifts in the Honeycomb Drum™ during its first rotations. If a family pet, for instance, was to be accidentally included in the load, the sensor would stop the cycle and unlock the door immediately. Next, SpinClean™ ensures that larger-volume loads are cleaned thoroughly, without excess wear, by manipulating the drum rhythms to ensure superior results and longevity. And finally, Intelligent Water Intake sensors uphold Miele’s century-long, global pledge to use only as much water as necessary… and not a single drop more.
